Map of the Caribbean.

For those who don't know, Dominica is located at the northern end of the Lesser Antilles, lying between the French islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique. The island is 16 miles wide and 29 miles long. Dominica is filled with rivers fed by an annual rainfall of 40 inches on the coast to 300 inches in the interior. It is said to have 365 rivers, one for every day of the year.
