Katie in the kitchen. We have to put a lot of things in the refrigerator due to bugs. We also bought a big airtight rubbermaid container to put things like cereal and pasta in. The taco shells that we had that night were soft rather than hard, probably due to the humidity here.
Daniel cutting an old coconut. It is a lot harder than it looks. Coconuts are tough.
Daniel bought this machete in Portsmouth at a hardware store. They call it a cutlass here, not a machete. Whatever it is, it seems like everyone has one.
It took awhile to get to the center, but here it is, a yummy coconut.
