Mt. Garfield.

My plan was to camp and hike from Mt. Garfield back to 21 Road in one day. What was I thinking? It was so rugged with canyons that I couldn't pass at night even with a full moon and headlamp.
Our dogs had fun though and we ended up just camping near the trail on the second plateau.
This rock was the dog's food bowl.
I was going to sleep under the stars, but decided to bring the tent along since I had the dogs.
Where I camped. You can see the tent in the center of the pic. It was beautiful that morning.
