Ava never wanted help with her luggage at the airport. We went to Pittsburgh to see Wes and Jacque.

Ava looked pretty tiny sitting in front of the Christopher Columbus statue.

Pittsburgh is a beautiful city.


Ava was able to go inside this submarine at the Carnegie Science Center.



Ava enjoyed riding the Monongahela Incline up to Mt. Washington.

One day in Pittsburgh was spent at the zoo. Ava loved seeing all the animals. We also were able to see the elephants getting bathed.

It didn't take Ava long to get into vacation mode.

We saw sea turtles and all sorts of different animals at Xcaret, near Cancun.

Ava enjoyed walking through the caves at Xcaret.
